Oh man. This brings back memories. My cousin and I used to take the bus a few miles to the place. It played a nice part in our lives around 1982 to 1984 when we were around 15 to 18. One of the times was when we had the coldest temperature ever in the city at -26 degrees. They were open and we were dumb enough to be waiting outside for buses to and from there. And then there were the fun Saturday nights. I didn’t realize the place had such a storied past.
