George was one of the most honorable people ever involved with pool.. we were real good friends. I was living in St Petersburg and he was living in Bradenton he called me the day before he died. Somehow we got cut off and I couldn’t get back a hold of him. Then his wife Jackie called me the next day and told me the bad news. RIP Georgie
I am George’s nephew. I was 12 when he passed away. Such a shame I only got to see him play once and it was when he beat me as a 6 year old off the break. I wish as an adult I could talk to him now about pool and poker and share some laughs
